Key Qualifications:
- Valid CA SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) is required
- At least one year of virtual/teletherapy experience preferred
- Skilled in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within a school setting
- Strong communication and technology skills essential for telepractice
- Experience working with an elementary and/or high school population
- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage a caseload under 55 students
- Already credentialed candidates are strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress and success
- Develop Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals and document student progress
- Provide engaging, adaptive teletherapy sessions
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed, following state and district guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
