This assignment runs until June 5, 2026, offering a consistent schedule of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, serving an engaging caseload of 70-75 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
What You'll Bring:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license for schools in California
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous school-based SLP experience or a strong interest in working with a diverse school community
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the developmental needs of children across all grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, write comprehensive reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide support and resources to staff and parents to ensure carryover of strategies in classroom and home environments
