Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fontana, CA
Make a real difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services in a vibrant educational setting. This contract opportunity offers a fulfilling role working with a diverse caseload of students from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Your commitment will span a standard academic week, with a full-time schedule of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 5, 2026. You’ll work with approximately 70-75 students, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication and language development.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Experience or interest working with students across all grade levels (PK-12)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver both group and individual therapy for a range of communication disorders
- Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as requested
