Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in the state of California or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions, both individual and group, based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families for holistic support
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success planning
