Responsibilities include:
- Assessing and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for K-5 students
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Completing timely documentation and progress reports
- Consulting with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate strategies consistently
- Maintaining ongoing communication with families regarding student progress
- Adhering to all district, state, and federal regulations for service delivery
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to support each child’s overall academic development
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Missouri license to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational or clinical settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple elementary school locations
- Ability to begin onboarding and complete fingerprinting promptly to meet credentialing deadlines
In this role, you’ll provide services three days per week at either a designated elementary school or within the regional district, for a total of 22.5 hours weekly. Multiple locations are available for assignment, enhancing variety in your daily work. This position begins as soon as credentialing is complete and runs through early June 2026.
