Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Ballwin, MO
This position offers an opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person therapy services at an elementary school setting. The role is a contract position covering a maternity leave from April through May 20th. Working within a supportive educational environment, the SLP will deliver specialized interventions that promote communication skills and support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students in an in-person school setting
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student records
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with speech-language therapy techniques and interventions appropriate for elementary students
- Ability to deliver teletherapy skills are beneficial but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff effectively
