Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Flanders, New Jersey
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized support in a school setting focused on pre-kindergarten students. This position is a contract role located in Flanders, NJ, offering a five-day work week with 35 hours per week. The caseload includes approximately 13 students, with a preference for candidates who have experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey SLP Licensure is required
- Credentials and certifications in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Pediatric and school-based SLP experience is highly desirable, particularly with preK age group
- Autism experience is preferred to better support students’ diverse communication needs
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing speech and language therapy programs tailored to each student’s requirements, collaborating closely with educators and families to foster communication development, and maintaining detailed progress records as part of a multidisciplinary team.
