School Speech Language Pathologist - Fenton, MI

Starting on August 19, 2026, and continuing through June 9, 2027, you’ll work approximately 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility in your daily schedule (typical hours are 7:50am to 2:25pm depending on the school assignment). This role allows you to engage with a diverse student population, assess needs, and develop targeted strategies for growth and success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Relevant state licensure and certifications to practice in school settings
- Prior experience serving school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging growth and confidence
