Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Holds (or eligible for) a valid SLP license in Michigan
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred; SLP-CFY welcome and encouraged to apply
- School-based SLP experience advantageous, but not required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with students across a range of abilities and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services to students in 3rd through 12th grades
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and regularly monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to create and implement intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
- Provide support and guidance to school personnel regarding communication disorders and interventions
This position offers a stable, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Start times are typically 7:50am–2:25pm, but there is some flexibility depending on assigned school locations.
