Seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a diverse caseload of students in a school setting located in Fairport, NY. This full-time, travel opportunity runs from May 18 through the end of the school year, with the possibility of renewal. The position is onsite-only at this time, providing hands-on intervention and support to students with a range of high needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy and assessments to a caseload of 20-25 students, ages K-21
- Work extensively with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and multiple cognitive and physical disabilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans with a focus on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in educational settings with high-needs populations
- Proficiency with AAC devices and strategies to support communication
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students of varying abilities
- Ability to work onsite in Fairport, NY for the duration of the assignment
