Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Connecticut
- Previous school-based SLP experience or relevant clinical background
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a full-time caseload of high school students for the duration of the maternity leave
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services, both individual and group, as required
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate professionally with educators, staff, and families for optimal student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to support a positive school climate
