Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fairfield, CT

Qualifications:
- Valid and active state SLP license and educator certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Proven experience working with schools or school-aged caseloads
- Adaptable to different age groups, grade levels, and varied caseloads
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Create and execute individualized therapy plans to support IEP goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and support staff
- Maintain required student records, progress notes, and reports in a timely manner
- Communicate regularly with caregivers and teachers regarding student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Adjust therapeutic approaches as new caseload details or grade assignments are determined
