This position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year on June 12, 2026, with an option to participate in Extended School Year (ESY) services from June 29 to July 16, 2026. Work part-time with a manageable caseload of approximately 26 students in grades 5 through 8, focusing on primary speech and language support for lower-needs populations—no ASD cases.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Valid licensure for school-based practice in Pennsylvania
- Experience delivering speech and language services in a school setting, preferably with 5th–8th grade students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy for students requiring speech and language support
- Evaluate, develop, and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on progress reviews
- Deliver ESY services during the July session as outlined
This part-time position offers a flexible, consistent schedule—16 hours per week across two days during the school year, with convenient hours of 8:30 am to 2:30 pm for ESY.
