Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist this coming school year. This is a full-time, contract position offering the opportunity to cover a maternity leave for the first semester, with the chance to make real connections within the school community. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid WA state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Strong commitment to fostering student growth and encouraging communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy into classroom routines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with families
- Adapt services according to student needs and school initiatives
