A great school district in the Evans, Georgia area, near Augusta, is now looking to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time, in-person school-based contract position. This opportunity offers up to 20 hours per week and will support a Kโ8 student population, with the majority of students in grades Kโ5.
The caseload primarily consists of students with articulation, language, and fluency needs. The district is actively reviewing candidates and is prepared to move quickly through the interview and hiring process for the right fit.
The district is also exploring whether Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) can be considered, so interested candidates are encouraged to apply.

ยท Provide speech and language therapy services to Kโ8 students.
ยท Support students primarily with articulation, language, and fluency needs.
ยท Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments as appropriate.
ยท Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
ยท Provide individual and group-based therapy services.
ยท Develop and monitor appropriate IEP goals.
ยท Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with members of the educational team.
ยท Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress reports, and student records.
ยท Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other school-based professionals.

ยท Previous school-based or pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred.
ยท Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred.
ยท Experience supporting articulation, language, and fluency needs is a plus.
ยท Clinical Fellows may be considered pending district approval and supervision availability.
