Middle School Speech-Language Pathologist in Naples, FL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year at a middle school setting located in Naples, FL. This contract position offers a standard Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The role is ideal for professionals with specialized skills in school-based speech-language pathology who hold a valid Florida teaching certificate and/or an active Florida Department of Health SLP license.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active FL DOH SLP license
- Cleared fingerprints and ability to apply for a JLA Badge (transferable within Florida districts)
- Experience working with middle school students preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement therapy plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
