Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Florida Department of Health SLP license required.
- Experience or strong interest in working with students from K-12, spanning elementary, middle, and high school environments.
- Ability to provide direct speech services, as well as perform evaluations as needed.
- Skilled in tailoring interventions and collaborating with educational teams to achieve student success.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Deliver Speech-Language services to students individually and in group settings across various school sites.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for diverse caseloads.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing student goals.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support optimal outcomes for students.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with school and legal standards.
Available assignment options (combine for up to 1 FTE):
- Palmetto Ridge High School: 3 days/week
- Pinecrest Elementary: 1 day/week
- Lake Trafford: 1 day/week
- Highlands Elementary: 1 to 5 days/week
- Golden Terrace: 2 to 3 days/week
