You'll work closely with children from kindergarten through high school, helping them achieve their communication goals through both direct services and comprehensive evaluations.
What you'll bring:
- Valid Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
- Experience with school-based SLP services or interest in working in educational settings
- Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
- Willingness to fulfill all credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and application for a district badge
Your responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students, addressing a broad range of communication disorders
- Conduct student assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
- Maintain precise documentation and submit required reports in a timely manner
- Work proactively with teachers, school support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
