Working at a single school site within Golden Gate City or Immokalee, you’ll provide direct speech services and conduct thorough evaluations to support students’ communication needs.
Your expertise will make a difference in classrooms and across the school community. The contract runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering up to 35 hours per week, with a flexible schedule of 7-hour days. On-site service is required, delivering hands-on care and collaborating closely with educators and families.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience providing direct speech therapy and conducting evaluations in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices
- Willingness to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting and credentialing processes (prior fingerprinting via the AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite clearance)
Duties include:
- Delivering individualized and group speech/language therapy sessions
- Conducting assessments and documenting progress
- Developing treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
- Participating in student support and IEP meetings
- Engaging positively with school staff and parents to foster student growth
