Pediatric Speech Pathology - Reading, PA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the Extended School Year session. This position centers on working with low incidence caseloads for students in PreK through 4th grade, allowing you to make a meaningful impact over a focused, short-term assignment.
Your program will start on June 22nd and conclude on July 16th, with scheduled prep time of 10 hours on June 17th and 18th to ensure you have ample opportunity to get set up for success. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology state license (CFY or CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based caseloads
- Proficiency in working with low incidence populations is highly valued
- Previous experience in PreK–elementary settings preferred
- Ability to thrive both independently and as a team member
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to eligible students (PreK–4th grade)
- Customize therapy plans and interventions for low incidence cases
- Complete IEP documentation, progress reports, and maintain compliance
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Attend prep sessions and actively plan for student success
