Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP), Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility.
- Background in healthcare or educational settings supporting pediatric clients.
- Understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school-based SLP services.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs.
- Maintain compliance with educational regulations and documentation requirements.
- Work in partnership with teachers to support student success within the classroom.
- Guide families in carrying over therapy strategies at home.
- Track progress and collaborate during IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds.
