Make an impact by supporting students from preschool through 5th grade as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment is structured at 15 hours per week for the entire school year, giving you a manageable schedule while enabling consistent, meaningful connections with your students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license required
- Current CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Prior experience in school settings encouraged, particularly with early childhood through elementary ages
- Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students in preschool through 5th grade
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans focused on speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress and coordinate services
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and supporting educational outcomes
