Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders across a K-12 population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Conduct therapy sessions—individually and in groups—addressing a diverse range of pediatric communication challenges
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and ongoing progress evaluations
- Provide education and resources for families and school staff to support student growth beyond the therapy setting
Qualifications:
- Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience serving pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and culturally responsive care
