This travel Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) opportunity is based in Ellicott City, MD, supporting an educational setting with a full-time, 40-hour per week schedule through the end of the school year. The position offers the chance to work itinerantly within the district, providing flexibility and variety across multiple school sites. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students according to individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Utilize assessment and therapeutic techniques appropriate for pediatric populations both in-person and via teletherapy
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in team meetings as required
  • Adhere to district guidelines and ensure compliance with educational and clinical standards

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare or school-based SLP settings
  • Teletherapy experience preferred; familiarity with IEP systems is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage an itinerant caseload
  • Ability to undergo necessary credentialing, including fingerprinting if required

Location: Ellicott City, Maryland — travel within the district’s multiple school sites is expected.
