Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an associate’s/bachelor’s degree for SLPA roles
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required for CFY candidates
- Prior experience with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings a plus
- Comfort with teletherapy tools and platforms is an advantage
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention plans for students with communicative, speech, or language disorders
- Deliver therapy through direct, small group, or virtual sessions
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student’s success
- Provide support and guidance to students, families, and staff regarding communication strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
