This contract opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working with Pre-K students and covering a maternity leave, starting May 29th through June 30th, with a transition into the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) welcome
- Experience working in schools, particularly with Pre-K populations, highly desired
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt instructional techniques to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to Pre-K students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with district and legal requirements
- Participate in team meetings, multidisciplinary conferences, and professional development as needed
- Commit to the full maternity leave coverage schedule (May 29–June 30; 8:30am–3:30pm, half-hour unpaid lunch) and ESY schedule (8am–1pm, Monday-Thursday)
