Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Professional Educator’s License (PEL) for Illinois schools, issued by ISBE
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based or therapeutic day school settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a dedicated caseload, approximately 20 students, providing both individual and group interventions
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive student care
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth
