School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Elgin, Illinois

We’re seeking two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) who are passionate about making a real impact and fluent in both Spanish and English. Opportunities are available in vibrant school communities in the Elgin area, actively supporting K-12 learners throughout the academic year.
This full-time position runs from late August through mid-June, with 37.5 hours each week spent onsite across multiple school sites (assignments may vary). As a valued SLP professional, you’ll play a vital part in helping students with diverse speech and language needs achieve their academic and social goals.
What you bring:
- Active IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Current IL SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
- Experience in school-based speech therapy settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills and organizational abilities
Responsibilities you’ll embrace:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students, adjusting caseloads as assigned
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans, IEPs, and progress monitoring
- Assess and document students’ speech and language needs
- Communicate proactively with parents, caregivers, and educators
- Travel between assigned schools as needed to fulfill full-time hours
- Foster an environment that supports cultural and linguistic diversity
