Skills & Experience Needed:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active IL SLP License
- PEL with Speech Endorsement required
- Experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- CCC, CFY, or relevant clinical background considered
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering therapy on-site
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based settings, or teletherapy approaches
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech/language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication goals
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and reassessments
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Contribute expertise to educational teams and offer consultations as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment for all students
