This is a full-time position, providing comprehensive support to students in both in-person and teletherapy settings. Here, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, including Clinical Fellows (CF) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), aiding in the assessment, intervention, and collaborative development of communication skills among school-age children.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working in K-12 or pediatric settings
- Strong foundation in school-based IEP/504 processes
- Teletherapy/remote therapy experience beneficial
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and individual student success
- Collaborative mindset for coordinating with educational teams and families
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
- Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, creating tailored goals and interventions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports
- Mentor and collaborate with CFCs and SLPAs on caseload management
- Use teletherapy platforms as needed for remote service delivery
- Communicate effectively with educators, administrators, and caregivers
