Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP state licensure or eligibility to obtain in New Jersey
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings beneficial
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for elementary and pre-K students
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Passionate about collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students identified with speech and language needs
- Develop and deliver targeted therapy sessions (individual and group) in line with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and initiate communication with families to support progress
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in accordance with school protocols
- Collaborate with educators and staff to promote generalization of language and communication skills
