Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Edgewood, New Mexico

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Valid state SLP license
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for middle and high school populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students, delivering both individual and group-based interventions
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs and develop appropriate IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and required documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the school’s special education program
- Support students with a range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication challenges
