A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting located in Edgewood, NM. This position is contract-based, running from the start date as soon as possible through the end of the current school year. The role focuses on supporting a caseload of 27 students, ages 5 to 11 years, providing valuable speech and language services in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the educational plan process
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist, including CCC, CFY, or School SLP credentials
- Open to candidates holding Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working with children aged 5-11 preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff and families
This part-time role requires availability for three days per week, offering a balanced schedule while making a meaningful impact on student development in the school setting.
