School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Easton, Maryland
Step into a rewarding short-term contract opportunity supporting young learners in a PreK-2 setting from October 1 through December 23rd. You’ll play a vital role, covering an FMLA leave, as a Speech-Language Pathologist, dedicating your expertise to help students on a daily basis. Your clinical skills will be central to providing direct speech-language services, conducting assessments, and managing cases for a diverse range of students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- CCC-SLP credential (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome)
- Prior experience in a school setting, especially with preschool and primary grades, preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive assessments for speech, language, and communication concerns
- Deliver direct therapy to students in PreK-2, addressing a range of needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage caseload in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and special education staff to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to personalized planning
