Pediatric SLP in Scarborough, ME
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available near Waterboro, Maine, focusing on school-based services for elementary students. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to student needs
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings alongside school staff and families
- Maintain progress reporting and documentation using the district’s special education system (training provided)
- Support and implement AAC devices to enhance student communication
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Maine SLP license required
- Proven experience working with AAC devices is essential
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
