Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time school-based position in East Orange, NJ for the 2026-2027 school year. - Schools Supported: 1 elementary school plus several early childhood classrooms across additional schools
Caseload & Responsibilities
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide services to:
- Elementary school students
- Early childhood students in multiple classroom settings
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct and indirect speech therapy services
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and special education teams
- Participating in IEP meetings and maintaining compliant documentation
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy goals as needed
- Supporting students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs
Qualifications Required:
- Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Active New Jersey Department of Education (NJ DOE) Certification
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
