An exciting opportunity awaits skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference in early childhood education! We are seeking two dynamic professionals to provide maternity leave coverage in two welcoming school environments. These contract roles offer the chance to support young learners during a crucial stage of development, with one full-time position in Stockbridge and another part-time in Dansville, both conveniently located near East Lansing, MI.
Both positions are set to begin December 1, 2026, and conclude March 31, 2027, giving you the opportunity to engage in rewarding short-term assignments within supportive school communities.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Michigan required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, ideally with early childhood students, is highly valued
- SLPA credentials are not accepted; SLPAs will not be considered
- VOCO SLP services are not applicable to these openings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessment, intervention, and consultation specifically for early childhood students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive support for each child
- Support students’ goals in speech, language, and communication in alignment with school and state requirements
