Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with suspected communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services as specified by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and administration to support each student’s goals
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation, including progress notes, IEP reports, and service logs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP sessions as required
- Adapt service delivery to meet caseload demands in a variety of school settings
