Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license for Maryland
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
- Recent experience in a school-based SLP role
- Knowledge of IEP processes and best practices for school-aged children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student’s needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
- Maintain accurate documentation and student progress reports
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to maximize student outcomes
- Provide support, consultation, and resources to educators and families
