Key Qualifications:

  • Possess active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist certification
  • Hold a valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate
  • Demonstrated experience as an SLP (CCC preferred) in educational settings
  • Expertise in serving diverse student populations, including K-12
  • Commitment to providing in-person support—virtual services are not available
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and collaborative spirit

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and design individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services according to student IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster optimal student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and compliance documentation
  • Guide and train staff to increase awareness and support for student speech/language needs across the district
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals and strategies

This position spans several schools district-wide, offering diverse experiences within a supportive, collaborative framework. The schedule is 35 hours per week onsite, ensuring manageable caseloads and opportunities to build lasting educational relationships.
