Key Qualifications:
- Possess active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- Hold a valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate
- Demonstrated experience as an SLP (CCC preferred) in educational settings
- Expertise in serving diverse student populations, including K-12
- Commitment to providing in-person support—virtual services are not available
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and collaborative spirit
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and design individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services according to student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and compliance documentation
- Guide and train staff to increase awareness and support for student speech/language needs across the district
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals and strategies
This position spans several schools district-wide, offering diverse experiences within a supportive, collaborative framework. The schedule is 35 hours per week onsite, ensuring manageable caseloads and opportunities to build lasting educational relationships.
