Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Dover, PA

Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech-language pathology services for preschool-aged students in Adams County. This role focuses on supporting children ages 3 to 5 in a school-based setting, offering vital interventions within a collaborative educational team. The position is on-site only, as the program is not accepting virtual assignments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license (must be presented with resume)
- SLP-CCC strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowships considered if agency provides $2,000 for supervision
- Experience working with young children with special education needs in school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and fellow professionals
- Ability to travel between sites in the New Oxford/Gettysburg area as part of an itinerant caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to preschool students, developing and implementing individualized education plans
- Conduct assessments, provide interventions, and monitor progress
- Work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to ensure integrated support
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Utilize dedicated weekly time for paperwork and planning
- Adhere to the preschool stretch calendar, working 188 days per year, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (35 hours/week maximum)
