Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active state licensure/certification (ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY eligible; Delaware certification if required)
  • Background in early childhood or public school SLP preferred
  • Knowledge in early literacy, child development, play-based learning, and AAC
  • Strong communicator and collaborator

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and support young students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Deliver individualized and group therapy
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Accurately document progress and participate in IEP/eligibility meetings
