Blazer Jobs has an opening for a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite role is located in Wyoming, DE and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative school environment supporting students through direct therapy and evaluations.
Job Description:
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in a school-based setting. This includes therapy, evaluations, and IEP support. Caseload and grade levels are to be determined based on student needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Develop and write IEPs
- Attend IEP and multidisciplinary meetings
- Collect and track progress monitoring data
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and documentation
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP license/certification required
- Must provide confirmation of active licensure upon submission
- SLPAs are not being considered for this role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience:
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Education:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
