Key Qualifications and Skills
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current GA SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY welcome to apply
- Experience working with school-age children in diverse populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to changing educational settings and caseloads
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to students, including assessments and intervention
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records and prepare documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Attend meetings, provide input for multidisciplinary teams, and participate in student support initiatives
- Offer consultation and resources to staff regarding speech and language strategies
