Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Current, active Massachusetts SLP license required
- Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPs with proven pediatric and school-based experience
- Strong knowledge of high school educational needs and challenges
- Background working with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering direct speech and language services to high school students
- Managing a focused caseload and tailoring interventions to student needs
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations in compliance with school guidelines
- Attending and contributing to IEP meetings as part of the student support process
- Maintaining accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and communications with staff and families
Work Schedule & Assignment Details:
- Contract position, starting as soon as possible through June 16, 2027
- Two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday)
- 10-15 hours weekly commitment
- Focused high school caseload with a variety of communication needs
- Compensation ranges from $50 to $55 per hour, based on experience and credentials
