Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Michigan SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary-age children, is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for K-3rd grade students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in one-on-one and group settings
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
