Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Detroit, MI

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
- Strong background in pediatric and school-based therapy
- SLP-CCC or candidates who are completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with teletherapy platforms preferred
- Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs across PreK-12
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students using in-person or virtual methods
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate session notes and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall support team
