Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Rochester, MI

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school environment near Rochester, MI. This onsite position begins in mid-August 2026 and extends through late June 2027, with a manageable caseload below the state maximum of 60 students. Work closely within an educational team to support student development and communication goals throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Michigan SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in an onsite environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations to inform individualized student plans
- Develop, implement, and document evidence-based therapy aligned with each student’s IEP
- Maintain clear communication and collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists to foster student progress
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and relevant school planning activities
- Manage assigned caseload efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant state and district policies
