What we're looking for:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Michigan or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric/school-aged populations
- Proficiency in designing individualized treatment plans and conducting speech, language, and communication assessments
- Professional communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support teams
- Flexibility and compassion for meeting individual student needs
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy across a caseload of students
- Assessing students’ speech-language abilities and developing IEP goals
- Participating actively in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Documenting intervention sessions and maintaining accurate progress records
- Providing consultation and support to school staff regarding communication disorders and strategies
