Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students with a range of communication challenges
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other specialists to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
- Engage in family and caregiver education to reinforce therapy strategies at home
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff workshops, and ongoing professional development
