What you'll bring:
- Active SLP licensure with ASHA CCCs
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred
- Expertise in working with students on the Autism spectrum and using AAC devices
- Comfort collaborating in multidisciplinary teams with RBTs and paraprofessionals
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Compassion and adaptability in supporting diverse learners
Role highlights:
- Serve a small K-2 student caseload (generally 10 or fewer students), allowing for focused, individualized intervention
- Develop and implement speech-language goals and therapy for students with varied needs
- Utilize AAC technology and strategies in therapy and class activities
- Consult closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
- Maintain a weekly schedule of 32.5 to 37.5 hours
