You’ll provide essential speech-language services to students at a high school, collaborating with the existing team and offering both consultative and direct support. The position spans three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with roughly 20 hours per week, adapting as needed to ensure all services are provided effectively.
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Background in school-based speech-language therapy preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and special education collaboration
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to approximately 46 high school students
- Maintain thorough documentation and IEP compliance
- Complete student assessments, progress tracking, and goal updates
- Work closely with teachers and special education staff
- Transition smoothly by shadowing current SLP 1–2 weeks prior to official start
- Participate in meetings as needed and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders

- Client prefers in-person interviews but will accommodate virtual options if necessary
- Must provide professional references by the time of interview
- No teletherapy (NO VOCO); all services are provided in-person
